Dr Monica has observed the health care needs of her original home of origin and wants to bring Telehealth/mobile health to every Kenyan, enabling the communities to have access to a physician through technology, thus improving the health of the people.
About Dr Monica Kangethe
Dr. Monica Kangethe is passionate about empowering and equipping communities. She is the President Emeritus of the Queens Ministry International USA, a ministry that empowers women spiritually, physically, emotionally, socially and economically. Under her leadership Queens Ministry International grew from a single chapter to 16 chapters in various cities and states in the USA.
She is a Graduate Student of Mid America Nazarene University and holders a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing. Dr. Monica is a Registered Nurse (BSN) and currently owns a business n health care in Kansas. She is a dedicated, highly motivated and a result- oriented leader. Dr Monica is also a trained professional Librarian from Kenya School of Professional studies and gifted in information organizational skills. She is currently pursuing Family Nurse Practitioner at Walden University, USA.
Dr. Monica is also the author of “Out of the Ashes to a life of Purpose”, a book that reflects her real-life experiences and challenges in life with great outcomes. It is her upbringing in dare circumstances that has made her passionate about empowering people to know that in them lies the potential to be great, and to make an impact in the world. She is a seasoned international presenter in conferences on purpose, mentorship, self-esteem and majors on bringing the best out of every person she encounters with.
Dr. Monica received an honorary Doctorate in Humanities in September 2016 for her leadership achievement in Queens Ministry. Dr. Monica has also been awarded a National Leadership Award by Women Add Value Initiative under I Change Nations, an organization that promotes respect, open dialogue and harmony. Dr. Monica has also been honored by Queens Night Ministry USA for her Outstanding leadership as President of the ministry for 6 years.
Dr. Monica is the current President and visionary of Destined to Thrive young girls Ministry in USA and Kenya, a ministry that unfolds the beauty of every girl, ensures every girl moves towards a deeper relationship with Christ, seeks the future where girls and leaders through mentorship and discipleship form long lasting / life changing relationships, changing their lives and impacting families , communities, nations and entire world.
She is born-again Christian & has been married to Pastor Ben Kangethe for 20 years, is a co-pastor in Kansas, and is a mother to their 3 adorable children.
